This reflects Endeavour’s continued commitment to its zero-harm culture and to maintaining a safe working environment for employees and contractors.

COLLABORATIVE APPROACH

LOCAL EMPOWERMENT

In 2025, Ity had a total workforce of 3,093 people. 96% of Endeavour employees were Ivorian nationals, with almost half of the workforce drawn directly from host communities.

HOLISTIC APPROACH

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

In 2025, Ity contributed approximately $3.84 million in total social investment, supporting initiatives focused on health, education, economic development, access to water and community well-being.

A new plastic sorting centre in Zouan-Hounien, near the Ity mine, is expected to recycle up to 265 tonnes of plastic annually, support around 80 waste collectors and create new local employment opportunities.

FOSTERING CHANGE

BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION

In 2025, Endeavour undertook a TNFD-aligned long-term scenario analysis for Ity, identifying the mine as one of Endeavour’s highest-priority TNFD biodiversity sites.

Located in a forested area close to the Cavally River, Ity remains a priority location for biodiversity management and environmental monitoring.

IMPACT

HEALTH & EDUCATION

Endeavour’s long-running malaria control programme at Ity has delivered a 90% reduction in malaria cases compared with five years ago.

Across 11 surrounding villages, participation in indoor residual spraying increased to 95%, contributing to a 76% reduction in malaria incidence within local communities.

ACCOUNTABILITY

To allow customers and other stakeholders to hold the Ity mine to account, Endeavour reports on its environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities and performance through its annual Sustainability Report.
